There are two ways to work with an accountant in Bookepr.
Invite an accountant to your business
Open Settings β Accountant access.
Enter the accountant's email and send the invitation.
The accountant accepts from the email and appears in your team list.
You can remove access at any time from the same page.
Connect to an accounting firm
If your accountant works at a firm that uses Bookepr, the firm sends you a connection request. You approve it from the notification or from Settings β Accountant access. The firm then works in your books through an engagement it manages on its side, and you see which firm is connected and since when.
What an accountant can do
An accountant sees the same transactions, documents, and reports you do, and can categorize, post entries, and run reports. An accountant cannot change your sign-in, your billing, or who else has access. Every change is recorded with who made it.
Ending the relationship
Remove an invited accountant from the team list, or disconnect a firm from Accountant access. Your books stay with you. The accountant loses access at once.
