Do this once a month, a few days after the month ends. It takes about thirty minutes once your accounts are connected.

1. Make sure every account is connected (5 minutes)

Open Banking. Reconnect any account that shows a notice. A missing account means missing transactions, and every later step is built on them.

2. Upload the month's documents (5 minutes)

Open Uploads and add the receipts and invoices you collected. Wait until each one is ready for review.

3. Clear the review queue (15 minutes)

Open Review. Approve what is right, correct what is not, and resolve any duplicate flags. Aim for an empty queue for the month you are closing.

4. Read the Profit and Loss (5 minutes)

Open Reports and run the Profit and Loss for the month. Compare it with the month before. Click any number that surprises you and check the transactions behind it. Fix a miscategorized one from there.

5. Hand it to your accountant

If an accountant is connected, tell them the month is ready. They see the same reports and can post adjustments. If not, export the Profit and Loss and the Balance Sheet and send them.

Next month the routine is faster: Bookepr applies the corrections you made this month to the new transactions.
