What to upload

Receipts, supplier invoices, customer invoices, and bank or card statements. PDF files and photos both work. A clear, flat photo of a receipt reads better than a folded one.

How to upload

  1. Open Uploads.
  2. Drag files onto the page, or choose Upload and pick them.
  3. Wait for the status to change from Processing to Ready for review. Large statements take a little longer.

What Bookepr reads

The date, the amount, the payee, and the line items when a document has them. For a statement, every transaction on it. Bookepr then lines each item up with a bank transaction it already has, so the same purchase is not counted twice.

Where the result goes

Everything Bookepr read lands in Review, next to the bank transactions, with the source document attached. You approve or correct it there. The document itself stays attached to the transaction so you or your accountant can open it later.

Every file is scanned for malware before it is stored, and it is stored encrypted.
